10 Tips to Crush Your Goals from Bloguettes Boss Babes

Greetings from Phoenix! I’m currently stationed at the soldout Bloguettes Workshop, and can I just tell you, this is THE place to be for bloggers and socially savvy boss babes.

Classes are being taught on social media, pitching, seo, photography, content creation, and monetization (to name a few), and this place is swarming with ladies who are crushing their goals (and a handful of guys, too, ha).

Don’t get me started on how gorgeous everyone looks (cute rompers and loose braids galore). Not sure if it was the Glossier or Primally Pure, but everyone is glowing.

I decided to make myself useful in my downtime at the conference and got to know some of the speakers, vendors, and attendees. I asked them what their best advice was for women pursuing their dreams, and their answers were gold.

I’m sharing them below! Read on for 10 tips to crush your goals from Bloguettes boss babes.

10 Tips to Crush Your Goals from Bloguettes Boss Babes

“Take every opportunity that excites you (even if it’s a little scary) and remember that if you never ask the question, the answer will always be no.” — Jamie Killin, PR and Marketing Specialist, Freelance WriterLifestyle Blogger

“Stop the negative thinking you have about yourself and watch God align you with your purpose in life. There is so much power in our thoughts and that can hold us back from our dreams. So choose positivity, be consistent, be authentically you, and watch your dreams come true.” — Deanna Marie, Influencer Rep for Southwest

“Don’t be afraid to ask someone for help or advice. Be prepared to do what you love for free until you can prove yourself. Once you can prove yourself, know your worth!” — Andi Marie, Arizona-based Photographer

“Treat your Instagram account like it’s your résumé. You never know what kind of opportunities may arise!” — Megan DangSocial Media Coordinator at Planoly

“Stay in your own lane.” — Sarah Navares, mama, writer, entrepreneur

“Make the first move! Opportunities only come to those who ask/do. The worst thing they can say is ‘no’. Keep trying and don’t be afraid to try something new!” — Natalie Scott, Marketing Coordinator at Bumble Bizz

“Never compare your beginning to someone else’s middle.” — Alyssa RyanArizona-based photographer

“Keep your head to the ground, put some noise blinders on, and work your ass off. That’s all there is to it.” — Lauren Daccache, Glossier rep

“The day you stop giving an eff what people think of you, everything will change. As long as you care what other people think, they run your life. Decide to do it for you.” — Taylor Grewe, Blogger

“Stay true, stay strong, believe in yourself! Never give up on yourself or your support system! The quicker you realize you can’t reach your goals yourself, the quicker your goals will be reached!” — Tara HainsworthOwner at Hainsworth & Co Salon
